The Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology and the Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists Joint Scientific Meeting (CARO-COMP JSM) Organizing Committee is happy to announce that planning is well underway, and registration is now open!

The main meeting will run from September 20-23, 2023 (Wednesday to Saturday). Please mark these dates in your calendar now!

A program is available for you on the CARO and COMP websites at www.caro-acro.ca and www.comp-ocpm.ca.

The theme for the 2023 CARO-COMP JSM is Interprofessional Collaboration: Better Together.

Our program objectives are:

Understand the importance of interprofessional collaboration for delivery of high-quality.
Patient-centered cancer care; apply evidence-based recommendations for the implementation of advanced radiotherapy techniques.
Describe current Canadian-led research initiatives within radiation oncology, medical physics, radiation therapy, and allied health.
Discuss challenges and opportunities related to equity, inclusivity, and access to radiotherapy in Canada.
